Abstract	A non-soap, determent composition comprising'anionic active detergent and an addxtlve-df the formula : R1™2 Xm <CR2R3 * CR4R5)nY»1S03M: (15 where, R^ = linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group containing even or odd number of carbons : C^ to CQ X = Oxygen or RgN~ When Rg is H, Me, Et or Ch2 CH2 0H* R2, R. R^ and R,- can be the saae or different and are either H or Ke Y = Oxygen K = IJa, K or Vig K is 'the cationic part selected from the alkali or alkaline earth metal groups; UH^ or its variants like-for e.g. diethanol ammonium, PI, m- and n are zero or one, with the proviso that 1) Hp=0; m=1 ; n=1 v.hen the said compound H-CrUXCRpR.,-- Cft^ - S03M 2) ra^-O; rn1 ; n«=0 v-hen R.CH^ X SO.M 3) m1-1; M«1 ; n-1 therein R^CH^XCK^R, -CR^K.-Y ro.M <0 5) m-jftl; m=0; n«0 therein R-jCH^Y SO.M m=1 ; a=0 n<=1 wherein RCtUO\2R - CR^ReY SO^M The determent active is present in an amount of 5 to 50% by wt. while the additive is an amount from 0-5 to b0% by wt.' The additive surprisingly produces increased lather which is more durable mid stable in presence of soil.
