A CONTINUOUS TYPE DEVICE FOR REDUCTION ROASTING OF MANAGANESE ORES.

Abstract

(57) Abstract: A continuous type device for reduction roasting of manganese ores0 It comprises a pair of vertically disposed bunkers (1,2), A rotary drum mixer (8) is disposed between a horizontally placed first endless conveyor (7) and a horizontally inclined second endless conveyor^ (11), The first endless conve^or,is disposed below the bunkers0 A seris of horizontally disposed pallets (12) is placed below the second endless"^ conveyor. A hopper (13) is vertically disposed below the second endless conve/yor and above the pallets. Following the hopper a burner (14) and air sealihg means (17) are disposed over the pallets. A suction box (18) is provided below the pallets, and connected to an exhaust stack (23) through a suction line (29) provided with atleast one cyclone dust trap (31) and atleast one suction fan (30). A horizontally inclined third endless conve/yor (33) is disposed above the dust trap and above one of the lbunkers0 A rotor (19) provided with blades <19a) is disposed in an air tight cashing (20) whose inlet (21) communicated with the discharge end (12b) of the pallets. The outlet (22) of the air tight casing is connected to a cooling arrangement. (Refer Fig 1)„
