| Abstract | The invention provides a variator for spinning frames. It comprises an electrically cylinder (1) capable of moving in forward as well as in reverse directions, driven by a 3-phase inductiorl motor (2). A drive nut (3) guided between two bearings (4) housed in two plate supports (5). A square threaded screw rod (6) mounted in the said drive nllt. (3) and attached to a fork assembly (7) connected to a lever (1), a mIcro-computer (10)programIrled for corltro llirlg the movemerlt of the said electr ically operated cylinder (1). Proximity switches for providirlg a hlgn frequerlcy input signal to the input of the said micro-computer and the output of the lrIicro-computer being connected to ~ontrol lll~ forward and re'ler-se Irlovelr!ent of- the said electrically operated cylinder. |
