Full Text | BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION FIELD OF INVENTION The present invention relates to a fixing structure of an upper panel and a drawer for a desk. More particularly, it relates to a fixing structure for fixing an upper panel and a drawer to a stand of a desk without using screws and rivets, so that it prevents the drawer from being deformed, shifted or separated from the stand by impact applied to the desk, and comprising slope regulation means installed between the upper panel and the stand for adjusting the degree of slope of the upper panel, so that it is used for various purposes. DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART Generally, a desk comprises an upper panel providing a working place, a drawer provided under the upper panel and in which books and other items are received, and a stand for supporting the drawer at both sides. A conventional desk is formed by assembling compartments. In a conventional desk, a drawer having an interior space therein is secured to the bottom of an upper panel made of wood using screws or rivets. 2 Since the drawer is fixed to the upper panel by a plurality of screws or rivets, assembling or disassembling work of the desk is complicated and consumes a lot of time. Further, since the bottom surface of the upper panel is usually damaged by such, riveting work the bottom surface of the upper panel cannot be used to replace the upper surface of the panel in the case that the upper surface of the upper panel is damaged. Accordingly, to solve the problem above, a stand is used. That is, the drawer is simply placed on the stand, and the upper panel is placed on the drawer. The stand is secured to the bottom surface of the upper panel by bolts and nuts. However, the drawer is not secured to the upper panel and the stand. Accordingly, when an external impact is applied to the desk, the drawer is easily separated from the upper panel and/or the drawer can be broken, and the bolt and nut assembly is loosened, so that the upper panel and the stand may be separated. Further, since the drawer is made of polyvinyl chloride(PVC) resin, it is easily deformed by climatic changes and the deformed drawer must be replaced with a new one. Moreover, since the upper panel and the drawer are simultaneously secured to the stand by the bolts and nuts so that the upper panel is orthogonal to the stand, it is impossible to adjust the degree of slope of the upper panel relative to the stand. Accordingly, when a user performs work such as drawing or sketching on the upper panel, he/she further requires an additional drafting desk in which the degree of slope of an upper panel is adjustable. 2A SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a fixing structure for fixing an upper panel and drawer to a stand of a desk, which is capable of securely fixing a drawer to a desk without using bolts and nuts. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a fixing structure for fixing an upper panel and a drawer to a stand of a desk, in which a contact area between a drawer and an upper panel providing a working place is minimized. It is another object of the present invention to provide a fixing structure for more securely fixing a reinforcement bar to a drawer. It is still another object of the present invention to provide a fixing structure for fixing an upper panel and a drawer to a stand of a desk, in which an upper panel is mounted on a stand so that the angle of slope of the upper panel is adjustable. It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a fixing structure for fixing an upper panel and a drawer to a stand of a desk, in which the length of the stand is adjusted by the manipulation of a user so that the height of the desk is adjusted based on the user's growth. Accordingly, the present invention provides a fixing structure of an upper panel and drawer for a desk comprising an upper panel having a plurality of through holes for receiving bolts at both sides, a drawer provided under the upper panel, opened at an upper part and a front part, and having a recess thereon to receive 3 things therein, and a stand placed on the ground for supporting the upper panel and the drawer, the fixing structure comprising: a fixing bar outwardly extending along upper edge portions of the drawer, and having a plurality of insertion holes and an insertion groove at the bottom thereof for receiving an intermediate frame combined with the stand; the intermediate frame combined with the stand for supporting the upper panel and the drawer, and having a plurality of connection holes corresponding to the insertion holes; bolts and nuts for coupling the insertion holes with the connection holes; and slope regulation means installed between the upper panel and the stand for adjusting an angle between the upper panel and the stand. DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ART Fig. 9 shows a conventional desk is formed by assembling compartments. As shown in Fig. 9, in a conventional desk, a drawer 120 having an interior space 121 therein is secured to the bottom of an upper panel 110 made of wood using screws or rivets. Since the drawer 120 is fixed to the upper panel 110 by a plurality of screws or rivets, assembling or disassembling work of the desk is complicated and consumes a lot of time. Further, since the bottom surface of the upper panel 110 is usually damaged by such, riveting work the bottom surface of the upper panel cannot be used to replace the upper surface of the panel in the case that the upper surface of the upper panel is damaged. Accordingly, to solve the problem above, a stand 130 is used,. That is, the drawer 120 is simply placed on the stand 130, and the upper panel 110 is placed on the drawer 120; The stand 130 is secured to the bottom surface of the upper panel 110 by bolts and nuts. However, the drawer 120 is not secured to the upper panel 110 and the stand 130. Accordingly, when an external impact is applied to the desk, the drawer 120 is easily separated from the upper panel 110 and/or the drawer 120 can be broken, and the bolt and nut assembly 5 is loosened, so that the upper panel 110 and the stand 130 may be separated. Further, since the drawer is made of polyvinyl chloride(PVC) resin, it is easily deformed by climatic changes and the deformed drawer must be replaced with a new one. Moreover, since the upper panel 110 and the drawer 120 are simultaneously secured to the stand 130 by the bolts and nuts so that the upper panel 110 is orthogonal to the stand 130, it is impossible to adjust the degree of slope of the upper panel 110 relative to the stand 130. Accordingly, when a user performs work such as drawing or sketching on the upper panel, he/she further requires an additional drafting desk in which the degree of slope of an upper panel is adjustable. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Now, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the annexed drawings. Fig. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a desk having a fixing structure in accordance with the present invention. Referring to Fig. 1, a desk 100 in accordance with the present invention comprises an upper panel 110 providing a working place, a drawer 120 and opened at an upper part and a front part thereof and provided under the upper panel 110, having a recess 121 to receive things therein, and a stand 130 placed on the ground for supporting an . intermediate frame 2, which is received into grooves formed at side edge portions of the drawer 120, at both sides. Bolts 140 penetrate the drawer 120 and the intermediate frame 2, and nuts 150 are combined with exposed ends of the bolts 140. A slope regulation means 190 is installed between the upper panel 110 and 6 the stand 130 so that the degree of slope of the upper panel 110 is adjusted by the user's operation of the slope regulation means 190. The upper panel 110 has a rectangular shape, and includes three through holes 111 at both sides. A supporting protuberance 112 is formed on front side of the upper panel 110, thus preventing the things laid on the upper panel 110 from sliding off when the upper panel 110 is sloped at a designated angle. The drawer 120 includes a plurality of grooves 3 formed at the bottom surface thereof. A fixing bar 1 is provided to outwardly extend along upper edge portions of the drawer 120. The fixing bar 1 has a plurality of insertion holes 11 penetrating therethrough from its upper surface to its lower surface. The fixing bar 1 further has an insertion groove 12 on the bottom thereof so that the intermediate frame 2 is inserted into the insertion groove 12. The insertion groove 12 is provided with a plurality of fixing protrusions 12a for holding and fixing the intermediate frame 2. The drawer 120 having a complicated structure described above may be formed by an injection molding method. The intermediate frame 2 is formed in such a manner as to fit into the insertion groove 12 of the fixing member 1, and has a plurality of connection holes 22 formed to correspond to the insertion holes 11. A hook 23 is provided at the bottom of the intermediate frame 2 between adjacent connection holes 22. The stand 130 includes an extending portion 132 and a supporting portion 134. The extending portion 132 is extended from the bottom surface of the intermediate frame 2 and formed to have a hollow structure. The extending potion 132 is 7 provided with a plurality of connection holes formed perpendicularly to the external surface thereof. The supporting portion 134 is slidably inserted into the extending portion 132 and placed on the ground for supporting an intermediate frame 2. The supporting portion 134 is provided with a plurality of holes at the upper portion thereof so that the holes of the supporting portions 134 correspond to the connection holes of the extending portion 132. The holes of the supporting portions 134 are connected to the connection holes of the extending portion 132 by bolts and nuts, thereby allowing the height of the intermediate frame 2 from the ground to be adjusted. Further, a reinforcement bar 21 is connected between both ends of the intermediate frame 2 by a welding method, and it is inserted into the groove 3 provided on the bottom of the drawer 120 when the drawer 120 is combined with the intermediate frame 2. Accordingly, the drawer 120 is fixed to the stand 130 by inserting the intermediate frame 2 into the insertion groove 12 of the fixing member 1, inserting the bolts 140 into the insertion holes 11 and the connection holes 22, and combining the nuts 150 with the exposed ends of the bolts 140. The intermediate frame 2 is fixed to the drawer 120 along three sides of the drawer 120, so that the drawer 12 0 is more securely fixed to the stand 130 and the upper panel 110, in 8 comparison with the conventional desk. Fig. 2 is a front view of the assembled desk in accordance with the present invention. Referring to Fig. 2, when the desk is assembled, the intermediate frame 2 is inserted into the insertion groove 12 formed on the bottom of the fixing member 1 combined with the drawer 120, and the reinforcement bar 21 is received in the groove (not shown) provided on the bottom of the drawer 120. Further, the upper panel 110 is placed on the upper surface of the drawer 120 to cover the recess 121 of the drawer 120. Accordingly, when an external impact is applied to the desk or things collide with the desk, the reinforcement bar 21 prevents the drawer 120 from being deformed and shifted by-being received in the groove (not shown) formed on the bottom of the drawer 120. Fig. 3 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a portion' A in Fig. 2. Referring to Fig. 3, the upper surface of the fixing member 1 is rounded, and the fixing protrusions 12a are formed in the insertion groove 12 at its both end portions. Since the upper surface of the fixing member 1 is round processed, a contact area of the fixing member to the bottom surface of the upper panel 110 is minimized. Accordingly, when the upper surface of the upper panel 110 is damaged, the upper panel 110 is turned over so that the bottom surface of the upper panel 110 may be used as a working place. 9 Further, when the intermediate frame 2 is forcibly inserted into the insertion groove 12 made of elastic material, since the fixing protrusions 12a tightly hold the intermediate frame 2 in the insertion groove 12, the drawer 120 is securely fixed to the stand 130 without using rivets or screws. Fig. 4 is a side view of the desk having a fixing structure in accordance with the present invention. Referring to Fig. 4, the slope regulation means 190 includes a hinge portion 180 and a regulation portion 170. The hinge portion 180 has a first hinge segment 172 downwardly extending from the through hole 111 formed in one side of the upper panel 110, and a second hinge segment 184 installed on the reinforcement bar 21 so that the first and second hinge segments 182 and 184 are connected by a pin 18 6. The regulation portion 17 0 is installed between the stand 130 and the through hole 111 (Fig. 1) formed in the other side of the upper panel 110. The regulation portion 170 serves to allow the end of the upper panel 1-10 to be upwardly rotated around the hinge portion 180 and then to fix the end of the upper panel 110 after the rotating in a proper distance. Fig. 5 is an enlarged view of a portion B of the fixing structure of the present invention, and Fig. 6 is an enlarged rear view of the portion B of the fixing structure of the present invention. 10 Referring to Figs. 5 and 6, each of the first hinge segment 182 and the second hinge segment 184 is bent and rounded at each end so that their front surfaces have a rectangular shape opened at one side. A through hole is formed on an upper surface and two side surfaces of each of the first and second hinge segments 182 and 184 so that the first hinge segment 182 is secured to the through hole 111 of . the upper panel 110 by a bolt inserted into the hole formed in the upper surface of the first hinge segment 182, and the second hinge segment 184 is secured to the side surface of the reinforcement bar 21 by a bolt inserted into the hole formed in the upper surface of the second hinge segment 184. The first and second hinge segments 182 and 184 are hinged to each other by the pin 186 inserted into the holes formed in the side surfaces of the first and second hinge segments 182 and 184. Fig. 7 is an enlarged view of a portion C of the desk of the present invention. Referring to Fig. 7, the regulation portion 170 includes a first fixing segment 171, a second fixing segment 172, a regulating segment 173, and a fixing pin 174. The first fixing segment 171 is installed in the through hole 111 of the upper panel 110 and downwardly extended. The second fixing segment 172 is installed on the side surface of the stand 130 and upwardly extended so that the second fixing segment 172 corresponds to the first fixing segment 171. A 11 hole is formed in the upper end of the second fixing segment 172. The regulating segment 173. includes an upper end rotatably connected to the first fixing segment 171, a lower end slidably disposed along the side surface of the second fixing segment 172, and a long hole 173a formed in the central portion of the regulating segment 173 and provided with a plurality of concavities 173b. When the fixing pin 174 is inserted into the concavities 173b and the hole of the second fixing segment 172, the regulating segment 173 is firmly secured by the fixing pin 174 so that the upper panel 110 sloped at a designated angle is firmly fixed. Here, as shown in Fig. 3, the first fixing segment 171 is bent once, and provided with through holes individually formed in upper and lower portions. The upper portion of the first fixing segment 171 is secured to the upper panel 110 by a bolt inserted into the through hole formed in the upper portion of the first fixing segment 171. The regulating segment 173 is rotatably connected to the lower portion of the first fixing segment 171 by a bolt and a nut inserted into the through hole formed in the lower portion of the first fixing segment 171. Further, as shown in Fig. 3, the second fixing segment 172 is bent twice, and provided with through holes individually formed in upper and lower portions. The regulating segment 173 is secured to the upper portion of the 12 second fixing segment 172 by a fixing bolt inserted into the through holes formed in the upper portion of the second fixing segment 172. The lower portion of the second fixing segment 172 is secured to the side surface of the stand 13 0 by a bolt and a nut inserted into the through hole formed in the lower portion of the second fixing segment 172. Fig. 8 is a cross-sectional view of the desk having a fixing structure in accordance with the present invention in operation. Referring to Fig. 8, the fixing pin 174 is slidably inserted into the long hole 173a of the regulating segment 173 and into the through hole formed in the upper portion of the second fixing segment 172, and then hung on one of the concavities 173b formed in the long hole 173a, thus preventing the movement of the regulating segment 173. Accordingly, when a user rotates the upper panel 110 on the hinge portion 180 so that one end of the upper panel 110 is elevated, and then inserts the fixing pin 174 into the concavity 173b, the regulating segment 173 is fixed by the fixing pin 174 so that the degree of slope of the upper panel 110 is maintained. The fixing pin 174 may include a hole on the external surface thereof. In this case, a subsidiary pin 174a is inserted into the hole of the fixing pin 174, thus preventing the fixing pin 174 from being separated from the long hole 173 of the regulating segment 173 and the hole of the second 13 fixing segment 173 and more firmly maintaining the degree of slope of the upper panel 110 set by the user. As described above, the drawer combined with the fixing member is provided under the upper panel, the intermediate frame is inserted into and fixed in the insertion groove provided on the bottom of the fixing member, the stand is installed on the ground and supports the intermediate frame at both sides, bolts penetrate the upper panel, the fixing member combined with the drawer, and the intermediate frame combined with the stand, and are combined with respective nuts, so that the desk can be assembled without using screws and rivets, so that assembling and disassembling works of the desk are simpler and easier than in the case of the conventional desk. Further, time for the assembling and disassembling works is reduced. Since the upper surface of the fixing member directly contacting to the upper panel is rounded, the contact area between the fixing member combined with the drawer and the bottom surface of the upper panel is minimized. As a result, damage to the bottom surface of the upper panel is minimized, so that the upper panel may be reused even if the upper surface of the upper panel is damaged, by turning over the upper panel so as to allow the bottom surface to be used as a working place. Since the reinforcement bar is inserted into the groove 14 provided on the bottom of the drawer, the drawer is securely assembled with the intermediate frame and the reinforcement bar. As a result, the drawer may not be deformed or swayed when an external impact is applied to the desk. The stand includes the extending portion installed under the intermediate frame and provided with a plurality of the connection holes formed perpendicularly to the external surface thereof, and the supporting portion slidably inserted into the extending portion and provided with a plurality of the holes at the upper portion thereof so that the length of the stand is adjustable by connecting the holes of the supporting portions to the connection holes of the extending portion. Accordingly, it is possible to adjust the height of the desk based on the user's growth. Moreover, the fixing structure of the present invention comprises a slope regulation means for adjusting the degree Of slope of the upper panel, including a hinge portion installed between one end of the upper panel and a reinforcement bar for rotatably fixing the upper panel, and a regulation portion installed between the other end of the upper panel and the extending portion of the stand for elevating the upper panel and then fixing the elevated upper panel. Accordingly, it is possible to adjust the degree of slope of the upper panel so as to be suitable for various uses, thus consulting a user's convenience. 15 Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims. 16 I CLAIM: l.A fixing structure of an upper panel and drawer for a desk comprising an upper panel having a plurality of through holes for receiving bolts at both sides, a drawer provided under the upper panel, opened at an upper part and a front part, and having a recess thereon to receive things therein, and a stand placed on the ground for supporting the upper panel and the drawer, the fixing structure comprising: a fixing bar outwardly extending along upper edge portions of the drawer, and having a plurality of insertion holes and an insertion groove at the bottom thereof for receiving an intermediate frame combined with the stand; the intermediate frame combined with the stand for supporting the upper panel and the drawer, and having a plurality of connection holes corresponding to the insertion holes; bolts and nuts for coupling the insertion holes with the connection holes; and slope regulation means installed between the upper panel and the stand for adjusting an angle between the upper panel and the stand. 2. The fixing structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein fixing protrusions are formed on the insertion groove at its both end portions. 3.The fixing structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the intermediate frame has three sides to be opened at its front and reinforcement bar is coupled to both ends of the frame to close the intermediate frame at the front of the intermediate frame. 4.The fixing structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein an upper surface of the fixing member is rounded. 17 5.The fixing structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the drawer has a plurality of grooves on the bottom surface thereof so that the reinforcement bar is inserted into the grooves. 6.The fixing structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the slope regulation means comprises: a hinge portion having a first hinge segment downwardly extending from the through hole formed in one side of the upper panel, and a second hinge segment installed on the stand correspondingly to the first hinge segment and connected to the first hinge segment by a pin; and a regulation portion installed between the stand and the through hole formed in the other side of the upper panel, and serving to allow the end of the upper panel to be rotated on the hinge portion so as to be elevated and then to fix the end of the upper panel after the upper is rotated by the desired amount. 7.The fixing structure as claimed in claim 6, wherein the regulation portion comprises: a first fixing segment installed in the through hole of the upper panel and downwardly extended; a second fixing segment installed on the side surface of the stand and upwardly extended correspondingly to the first fixing segment, and having a hole at the upper end thereof; a regulating segment having an upper end rotatably connected to the first fixing segment, a lower end slidably disposed along the side surface of the second fixing segment, and a long hole formed in the central portion thereof and provided with a plurality of concavities; and a fixing pin inserted into the concavities and the hole of the second fixing segment for supporting the upper panel. 18 8.The fixing structure as claimed in claim 7, wherein the fixing pin comprises a hole on the external surface thereof, and a subsidiary pin is inserted into the hole of the fixing pin so that the separation of the fixing pin from the long hole of the regulating segment and the hole of the second fixing segment is prevented. 9.A fixing structure of an upper panel and a drawer for a desk, substantially as herein described, particularly with reference to the accompanying drawings.
