| Abstract | It is the object of the present invention to reduce the size and the weight of the bearing of a camshaft and the size of an internal combustion engine in the valve system of an overhead-valve type internal combustion engine. [Solution] A valve system of an overhead-valve type internal combustion engine is provided with a camshaft 57 supported by bearings and provided with an intake cam 75 and a supercharger cam 77, an intake cam follower 78 and a supercharger cam follower 80, an intake pull rod 82 and a push road 84. The intake cam follower 78 is put into contact with the intake cam 75 on the side of the cylinder 45 of the mounting plane B of a cylinder 45 and a cylinder head 43, and the supercharger cam follower 80 is put into contact with the supercharger cam follower 80 is put into contact with the supercharger cam 77 on the side of the cylinder head 43 of the mounting plane B. |
