Abstract	Process for oxidation of tea leaves which comprises of obtaining tea leaves from the tea garden;subjecting the same to moisture removing by passing hot air ;cutting the tea leaves in rotavane;shapping the cut leaves in CTC machine;characterized in that the said shaped tea leaves obtained from the above step were transferred into the fermentor floor at room temperature to convert tea leaves from green colour to back by passing ozonated air as forced oxidizing agent in closed chamber and thereby obtaining oxidized tea leaves.
