An improved device for the manufacture of chopped thermoplastic yarns (5), such as chopped glass yarns, comprising at least one bushing (1) which interacts with at least one chopping machine (7), the one placed in the extension of the other, a means (3) for sizing the yarns (5) and/or the filaments (2) resulting from the bushing (1), at least one return means (4) and a floor (9), characterized in that it additionally comprises a means (74) intended to move and to position the chopping machine (7) in at least two positions : the first opening (10) in the floor (9) through which the chopping machine (7) is moved. |
