Abstract	A manually actuated pump dispenser (10) is disclosed which comprises a reciprocable pump piston having a dischange valve snap-fitted to the pump body for the outletting of the liquid product from the pump chamber, the discharge valve being formed of an elastomer material and comprising a conically-shaped element (35) at one end sloping outwardly toward the discharge passage (31), the valve having a non-reentrant element (36) at its opposite end for snap-fit engagement with a transverse support web (38) within the pump body through a coaxial opening thereof, the conically-shaped valve element (35) seating a circular valve seat having a complementary taper to that of the valve element.
