Abstract |
The invention concerns a method for transforming a gas oil fraction derived from a conversion process or an aromatic crude, thereby improving said fraction cetane index. Said method comprises at least a hydrogenation step wherein said gas oil fraction is passed, in the presence of hydrogen, on a catalyst comprising an amorphous mineral support, at least a group VIB metal compound, at least a group VIII non-noble metal compound and at least phosphorus or a phosphorus compound; said method comprises a subsequent hydrocracking step wherein the hydrogenated load is passed, in the presence of hydrogen, on a catalyst comprising at least a group VIB metal compound and at least a group VIII non-noble metal compound. |
