Various medical techniques so far are available for joining of the fractured bone which
includes lengthy procedures like plastering of the fractured area for 3 to 10 weeks with
subsequent medication which include pain killer allopathic medicine which may develop
side effects, some of them may be very severe and may be life threatening. Thus such
treatments involves a higher amount of patience, money and side effects by the medicines
developed by the medicines ingested..
In ayurveda also there is no unidose medication is available which can treat the patient in
less irritating manner and may treat the patient in faster and effective way. Almost all the
known medical methods takeout to ten weeks in full repairing depending on the kind of
the fracture.

the 40 parts of the milk at a 50 RPM to 100 RPM in a mixer to obtain
the said ayurvedic composition.
Detaita) description of the invention
The present invention discloses an ayurjvediccomposition which is useful in the treatments of the fractured bones and also as an anti-inflammatory medicine which comprises of whole plant powder of Cissus Quadrangularis (

Vernacular name Harjor ) Pterocarpus Marsupium heartwood fine powder , ( Vernacular name Vijay Sar ) Buffalo/ Cow Milk and Chenopodium Murale (kurund) linn mixed in a ratio of 1 to 2 : 0.4 to 0.8 : 40 : 0.4 to 0.8 respectively. In this ayurvedic composition dried powder of the whole plant of Cissus Quadrangularis is used. The preferred ratio of the ingredients (i) is 1, (ii) is 0.4 , (iii) is 40 and (iv) is 0.4 . or it may be as (i) is2, (ii) is 0.8 , (iii) is 40 and (iv) is 0.8 .
In this composition powder of whole plant of Chenopodium Murale (kurund) is used. This invention also discloses a process for the preparation an ayurvedic composition useful in the treatments of the fractured bones and as an antiinflammatory medicine, which comprises:
drying the Cissus Quadrangularis linn in sunlight for 2-4 days, then grinding the dried linn Cissus Quadrangularis to a thin powder, sieving the powder through a cloth ; then grinding the Pterocarpus Marsupium heartwood to a powder and sieving the powder through a cloth, then grinding the fully dried Chenopodium Murale (kurund) linn to a powder and sieving the powder through a cloth, thereafter mixing all the gradients in a ratio of 1 to 2 : 0.4 to 0.8 : 0.4 to 0.8 with the 40 parts of the milk at a 50 RPM to 100 RPM in a mixer to obtain the said ayurvedic composition.
As an preferred embodiment for process of the preparation of an ayurvedic composition dried powder of the whole plant of Cissus Quadrangularis is used and thcjatio of the ingredients mixed is kept (i) is 1, (ii) is 0.4 , (iii) is 0.4 and (iv) is 40. and more preferably the ratio of the ingredients mixed is kept (i) is2, (ii) is€,8^ (Hi) is 0.8 and (iv) is 40.
Clinical trial:

The patient with fracture of Radio Ulna was given the treatment with the
composition in the following quantities:
Cissus Quadrangularis linn powder 5 Gm
Buffalo milk 200 ml
Pterocarpus Marsupium 2 Gm
