| Abstract | Process for producing a dual chamber tube with a partition (9) extending into the tube head and a prefabricated tube body (11) and a tube head, said process comprises the steps of dispensing a molten plastics material into a mould (3), introducing a pressing mandrel (2) into the mould (3) and moulding said portion of material between the mandrel (2) and the mould (3) with simultaneous production of a rigid connection to the tube body (11) and to the protion of the partition (9) arranged in the tube head region, opening the mould, removing the mandrel (2) and extracting the finished dual chamber tube, is characterized in that the partition (9) is inserted into a gap (8) in an auxiliary mandrel (6) and a blank (12) is produced by applying a prefabricated tube body (11) to the auxiliary mandrel (6), the blank (12) then being conveyed axially to the pressing mandrel (2). |
