Abstract |
To provide an engine stopping/starting control system which is capable of automatically turning off a headlamp in the usual stopping state of a vehicle and preventing the headlamp from being left turned on in a particular stopping state of the vehicle requiring the headlamp to be left turned on, for example upon waiting for a signal light (blue) or a chance of right-turning in an intersection. [Solving Means] A vehicle has an engine stopping/starting control system for stopping an engine in operation in response to a specific vehicle stopping condition and restarting the engine in stoppage in response to a specific vehicle starting operation. The control system includes a headlamp relay 63 for controlling power feed to a headlamp, a sitting SW 54 for detecting whether or not a driver is in riding on the vehicle, and a headlamp control unit 800 for controlling the conductance of the headlamp relay 63, wherein when the stopping state of the engine is continued for a first predetermined time or more, or when the driver non-riding state in the stopping state of the engine is continued for a second predetermined time or more, the headlamp control unit 800 cuts off the headlamp relay 63 in the conductive state. |
