PROCESS FOR EDIBLE VACCINE

Abstract "FACING THE DISEASES- THE OTHER WAY-PHYTOIMMUNOPHARMACOKINETICS." In study of diseases one observes that few unfortunate ones succumb to disease, some develop sub-clinical infection, some develop & overcome the disease with or without medicaments, but fortunate ones do not show any sign of exposure. It is said that this is because of different immunological status. The persons who develop disease are having lowered immunity and others have good immunity. If one identifies the dietary factors that imparts immunity and give these factors to diseased persons and if their ailment process is relieved then one has to investigate. Antigen like material will give active immunity and antibody like material give passive immunity. (Dr. MADHAV PANDHARINATH KAMATKAR) The aim of this invention is to to identify the process for differentiating dietary articles having those properties from the remaining dietary articles those do not posses these properties.

In past in epidemics of cholera, plague, Hepatitis, Gastroenteritis or other infective diseases; early diagnosis, isolation/ identification of culprit organism, prompt treatment with antibiotics, & if possible prevention by vaccination was followed. At present also in epidemics, endemic & sporadic cases this routine is not changed. Much research has also been done on mode of entry, pathogenicity of invading organism & disease process.
4

In study of diseases one observes that few unfortunate ones succumb to disease, some develop sub-clinical infection, some develop & overcome the disease with or without medicaments, but fortunate ones do not show any sign of exposure. It is said that this is because of different immunological status. The persons who develop disease are having lowered immunity. The persons who do not develop disease are having good immunity. After invasion of America, Australia & other countries the natives disappeared from this world to much extent. Indians at that time & today also are highest in population. The then Government & medical society gave stress for new inventions like new microorganisms, new diseases, new therapy & new vaccines. Enough attention was not given to why Indians do not suffer from disease in spite of exposure to or harboring dreadful virulent organisms.
Being most populous country with poorest sanitation facilities there is maximum number of infective diseased persons in India. It is said that Indians live amidst Bay of organisms. It is no wonder few unfortunate ones develop disease. It is more wonder that, many do not suffer from disease. One has to remember that there are no wonders in Science & one has to understand rationale behind them. In modern times Indian diseases are thoroughly investigated & presented. However, Indian immunity is not investigated properly. In spite of presence or exposure to the dreadful organisms if Indians are not developing disease it should be investigated. Before advent of modern anti Koch's treatment manf patients were dying miserably. But at that time also occasional patient was fully recovering from the disease. It is already known that diet gives immunity. The Indian diet mainly composed of cereals, pulses, vegatables & fruits. All of thsese come from plant kingdom. In diet also fresh fruits are advised to boost immunity while studing tuberculosis & other diseases. So in the present scenario persons who are dying miserably are eating fresh fruits & persons who are not developing disease are also eating fresh fruits. Further persons who have developed the disease & are recovering from disease are also eating fresh fruits. So at present no method is available to say positively that this fruit gives immunity. All are said to be nonspecific ones. Attempts are not made to identify the process to differentiate the fruits those are having immuno-therapeutic properties & others not having these properties.
Most of the human pathogenic microorganisms usually do not cause diseases in plants. Plants are unsuitable hosts for these pathogenic organisms. To decrease the virulence of pathogenic microorganism, it has to be passed through unsuitable host. Even though the organism is present in vascular system and in other parts of plants the plants are having immune system working against these organisms. Antibody like material of plant origin should be used for passive immunity. Less virulent or avirulent pathogenic microorganism should be identified, isolated and cultivated for active immunity.
5

Recently transgenic plants are used as plant vaccines; however, Indian plants are time tested while new transgenic plants are not. At present following procedures are used like latex, Elisa, polymerase chain reaction, Chemiluminesance, Western & Southern blot, radioimmunoassay to identify the antigen or antibody like material. To isolate the organism & to find out the virulence culture & virulence testing is done.
DESCRIPTION:-
The present invention relates to facing the diseases - the other way relating with Indian PHYTOIMMUNOPHARMACOKINETICS.
Phytos means related to plant Immmuno means resistance to disease Kinetics means science
There are antigen & antibody like substances in plant kingdom against human pathogenic organisms.
Antigen like material will give active immunity & antibody like material will confer passive immunity.
Last thousands of year's Indian plants are exposed to human & animal waste
(full of organisms). Obviously all plants of same species do not show same
response.
(Otherwise there would not be a single case of any disease.)
So there needs a process to identify the special plants those are having antigen
like or antibody like material in plants against those plants not having these
properties.
For carrying out above-mentioned reactions present invention identified the parts of plants having all genetic material & having information of environmental effects in plants; these are usually seeds & growing parts of plants.
The invention indicates that:

At present following procedures are used like antigen & antibody reactions, latex, Elisa, polymerase chain reaction, Chemiluminesance, Western & Southern blot, radioimmunoassay to identify the antigen or antibody like material. To isolate the organism & to find out the virulence culture & virulence testing is done.
If we apply directly these techniques to plant material the results will be having errors; so following process is to be applied.
Process
To isolate special plant species from ordinary ones by using following procedure:
Step one:-
To make watery, alcoholic glycol and acetone extracts solutions from the parts of
plants having all genetic material & having information of environmental effects
in plants; these are seeds & growing parts of plants.
Step two:-
To measure protein contents from above solutions.
If the protein content is very less it has to be increased between 6 to 8 Gm% to
avoid false positive reactions.
If the protein content is very high it has to be reduced between 6 to 8 Gm% to
avoid false negative reactions.
Step three:-
To measure pH of above solutions.
If pH is very low it has to be increased between 6 to 8.
If pH is very high it has to be reduced between 6 to 8.
Step four:-
To measure matel content.
If the metal content is high it has to be reduced by chelating agents to avoid
false negative reactions.
12

Step five:-
At present following procedures are used like latex, Elisa, polymerase chain
reaction, Chemiluminesance, Western & Southern blot, radioimmunoassay to
identify the antigen or antibody like material.
If the test is positive for the antigen of the virulent organism, the microorganism
should be ruled out by doing culture.
If microorganism is present the virulence should to be tested and if virulence is
absent it is safe to give that material. If organism is not present it is safe to give
that material to animal kingdom.
Further in one special dietary article there will be many combinations of immuno-therapeutic material against many organisms. Under experimental conditions these properties can be transmitted to other plants.
This invention indicates that Indian dietary immuno-therapeutics can be exported instead of medicaments & vaccines import.

: ABSTRACT
"FACING THE DISEASES- THE OTHER WAY-PHYTOIMMUNOPHARMACOKINETICS."
In study of diseases one observes that few unfortunate ones succumb to disease, some develop sub-clinical infection, some develop & overcome the disease with or without medicaments, but fortunate ones do not show any sign of exposure.
It is said that this is because of different immunological status. The persons who develop disease are having lowered immunity and others have good immunity.
If one identifies the dietary factors that imparts immunity and give these factors to diseased persons and if their ailment process is relieved then one has to investigate.
Antigen like material will give active immunity and antibody like material give passive immunity.

(Dr. MADHAV PANDHARINATH KAMATKAR)
The aim of this invention is to to identify the process for differentiating dietary articles having those properties from the remaining dietary articles those do not posses these properties.
