"DESIGN CUTTING MACHINE"

Abstract This invention relates to a "DESIGN CUTTING MACHINE", which is eco-friendly, user friendly and has been developed to eliminate the dependence of hand operations in cutting, embossing, calendering and pasting, selective cutting on clicker, cutting by hand press and cutting on power press etc., the proposed invention is a machine easy to use, capable to cut / size / emboss on paper, leather, rexene, cloth, canvas, cardboard and the like with an amazing quality, speed and precision, the cutting shape can be altered, depending upon the design requirements, shaping machine already exists the proposed invention has a defenite edge over the existing machines, the same is totally different in operation - design - production and results, the said machine will bring a revolution in the world of cutting, shaping and sizing of items made out of paper, leather, rexene, cloth, canvas, cardboard and the like with an amazing quality, speed and precision.
Full Text This Invention relates to a "DESIGN CUTTING MACHINE" which will give quality and bulk output with amazing speed and simplicity in operation.
PRIOR ART
In the prior art, the cutting and shaping of items is being done by either of the
following machines :
Hand Press, Power Press and Clicker.
By the Proposed invention, in one cycle / stroke, we achieve the following :
Power required 1/8th to 1/20th
Man Power reduced to 50%
Noise level reduced to 1/10th
Production is about 10 to 100 times, depending upon the item to be cut/shaped.
Wastage is reduced from prior art 20% to about 5%
Rolls of above mentioned materials can not be fixed in the machines referred to
in the prior art.
In the prior art each material roll first has to be cut in smaller sizes before the material can be fed into the machine. In the proposed invention the full roll of material, 40 to 50 meters, length, can be fed into the machine and a continues production is achieved.
Till today there is no machine of the like in the entire machine world which itself cuts / sizes / embosses / calendars with such a precision, quality and speed.
The Principal objective, therefore, of this invention is to propose a "DESIGN CUTTING MACHINE" which will give quality and bulk output with amazing speed and simplicity in operations.

The proposed invention is now described with reference to the accompanying drawings:
It consists of a "DESIGN CUTTING MACHINE" which comprises of a stationary die table Plate (1), Mounted on a suitable frame (2), having a carriage (3) with a roller (4), the said roller having a pressure adjustment (5) the said die, fixed on the stationary die table plate with multiple cavities so that all the cavity pieces are cut in half stroke operation, the movement of the roller / carriage accross the table over the die being initiated by an electric motor (6) connecting the said carriage through a suitable gear box (7) connected to a driving shaft (8) and the said shaft having a small chain gear (9) which moves a chain (10) that moves the carriage to and fro, the machine provided with a safety device / stopper (11) that limites the to and fro motion of the carriage.

The function and operation of the proposed invention is now described with reference to the accompanying drawings :
OPERATION
CUTTING / SIZING. CALENDARING & EMBOSSING OPERATION
A proper cutting /sizing, Calendering & Embossing die is fixed on the stationary die plate table (1).
The roller pressure is adjusted to be just enough to cut / size the material to the shape of the die.
The invented machine has a stationary die table plate (1), mounted on a suitable steel frame (2).
The material Is put across the said stationary die plate table.
A carriage (3), mounted with a roller (4), the roller having adjustable spring (5), for desired uniform pressure, the carriage runs to and fro across the said table by an electric motor (6).
The said motor is connected to a reduction gear Box (7), which further move a driving shaft (8), the shaft having a small chain gear called pinion (9), moves the main chain (10), and finally the said chain moves the roller across the said table (1) to and fro.
The entire operation of the machine is provided with a safety device / handle (11), for controlling the to and fro motion of the carriage across the table.
When the roller, along with the carriage, moves under desired pressure above a fixed die the same can perform either of the following operations.
Cutting, Embossing, Calendering and sizing.
Thus this Proposed invention, by a single machine, performs all the above listed operations.




I claim:
1. A 'DESIGN CUTTING MACHINE' comprising of:
Hand Cutting Machine;
Hand Press; Power Press; Clicker;
Characterized in that a stationary die table plate (1), mounted on a suitable frame (2), having a carriage (3) with a roller (4), said roller having a pressure adjustment spring (5), a die fixed on said stationary die table plate (1) with multiple cavities so that all the cavity pieces are cut in half stroke operation, the movement of the roller/carriage across the table over the die being initiated by an electric motor (6) connecting said carriage through a suitable gear box (7) connected to the driving shaft (8) and said shaft having a small chain gear (9) which moves a chain (10) that moves the carriage too and fro and the machine being provided with a safety device/stopper (11) that controls the too and fro motion of the carriage.
2. The Design Cutting Machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein an embossing die is fitted on the stationary die table plate (1) that embosses the material.
3 The Design Cutting Machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said roller, calendars the material, when pressed by said roller.
4 The Design Cutting Machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein both the materials with binder in between, will be pasted uniformly over one another, when pressed by the roller.
5 The Design Cutting Machine substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
