| Abstract | THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD OF OPERATING A MEMORY HAVING MEMORY TRANSISTORS ARRANGED IN A GROUP IN THE INCOMING LINES TO THE MEMORY CELLS (4) IN EACH CASE A SELECTION TRANSISTOR (2) FOR A GROUP OF MEMORY CELLS, PREFERABLY 16 TO 32 MEMORY CELLS, IS INSERTED. FOR READING, THE SELECTION TRANSISTOR IS OPENED TO A LINE GROUP WHILE THE CONTROL GATES OF ALL LINES ARE ON LOW POTENTIAL AND THE CURRENT FOR EACH COLUMN UNDER READING WHICH LEADS THROUGH THIS LINE GROUP ,IS MEASURED AND STORED. IN THE SECOND STEP THE CONTROL GATE (5) OF THE LINE UNDER READING IS BROUGHT ON THE HIGHER READING POTENTIAL AND THE RESULTANT CURRENT IS COMPARED WITH THE PREVIOUS ONE. |
