A CONNECTING RAIL MADE OF PROFILED SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCT

Abstract

This invention relates to a connecting rail made of profiled semifinished products, adaptable to electrical appliances and devices, suitable for different nominal currents, the rail connecting the electrical components of electrical appliances and device to an external circuit, the connecting rail extending through a plurality of window openings (21, 22) in the configured rear wall (2) of the appliance or device and being fixed in a housing by atleast one fastening means. Rail consists of a full profile (11), and provided with first bearing surfaces (12,13) and second bearing surfaces (14,15), the bearing surfaces providing support in the window opening (21,22) of the rear wall (2) of the housing, the second bearing surfaces (14,15) each having atleast one projection (16,17) for securing continuous current conductions of the external circuit, and in that one of a lug (18) for securing the continuous conductors to the movable switching contacts (10) and a lug (23) for securing the fixed switching contacts (5) is provided.
