The following specification particularly describes the nature of this invention & the manner in which it is performed:

The present invention relates to Extruded Aluminium Pelmets for Curtains / Vertical Blinds / Venetian Blinds / Roller Blinds.
The present trend existing in the market is a drapery rod made of aluminium with a powder coating with a projected profile. It is installed with the help of two brackets at the ends. The rod is fitted inside the brackets with the help of threaded lock.
However the present drapery rods have certain disadvantages, some of which are mentioned below.
The fixing of drapery rods as well as the hooks is visible.
Drapery rod fixing is with help of brackets and is hence not very strong.
Also in drapery rods, designs are provided only on the brackets at the two ends, and not along the length of the rod.
The present invention is developed with a goal to overcome the disadvantages of the drapery rods and provide a better alternative.
The present invention will now be explained in detail with the help of figures 1 and 2 of accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 shows an auxiliary view of the present invention. Figure 2 shows a side view of the invention.
Figure 1 illustrates fixing bracket (1), support bracket (2), an assembling bracket (3), front bracket (4) and plastic lock (6).
Figure 2 illustrates fixing bracket (1), support bracket (2), an assembling bracket (3), front bracket (4), plastic hook (5) and plastic lock (6).

The present invention consists of 6 different parts which are assembled together. There is a fixing bracket, support bracket, an assembling bracket and front bracket. All these four parts are made of extruded aluminium. In addition to this, there are a number of plastic hooks as well as plastic locks. The number of hooks and locks can vary as per the length of the curtain pelmet. Support bracket with sliding fitted fixed with fixing bracket which is fitted to the wall directly and sliding limbs slided in the channel of front bracket, plastic locks are available to lock front bracket and sliding limbs, support bracket has rectangular squares for placing sliding limbs in front portion and rectangular squares at top portion for placing plastic lock and the squares are punched at fixed distance. The fixing bracket have holes to place the plastic locks and sliding limbs is to be cut as per the square width with the hole punch for locking. Front back having channels for sliding limbs. A fixing bracket and front bracket with sliding limbs are fixed together by placing sliding limbs in the support bracket.
The fixing bracket with support bracket is fitted to the wall directly. The front bracket is attached to the fixing bracket with the help of sliding limbs. As seen in the side view in figure 2, the assembling bracket has limbs which slide into the fixing bracket and front bracket along their length. That the said two brackets cannot be separated by pulling them apart. To prevent the two brackets from sliding apart horizontally, a number of plastic locks are provided and turned, so that the entire assembly is locked in place. A support bracket is placed between the fixing bracket and the locks so as to support the locks and the entire assembly. In the passage between the assembling bracket and the front bracket plastic hooks are placed such that they can slide freely. The front bracket is provided with designs along its length and is available in a variety of colours.
The present invention is more advantageous compared to the conventional drapery rods as explained below.

Unlike drapery rods, the present invention does not heed side bracket or center unnort. Further, unlike drapery rods the present invention can be used not only for curtains, but also vertical blinds, Venetian blinds and Roller blinds.
In the present invention, fixing is concealed.
The present invention has a more aesthetic look compared to conventional drapery rods, since designs can be provided.
