| Abstract | TITLE: A DEVICE FOR ALIGNING VEHICLES. This invention relates to a device for aligning vehicles, comprising alifting table and a tensile aligning appliance, which can be coupled to the lifting table and which is intended after coupling to the lifting table to be involved in the movements thereof and swivelable relative thereto in a plane that is essentially parallel tothe plane of the lifting table about an axis of artivulation deifned by interacting coupling elements ont he lifting table and the tensile aligning appliance respectively, and which device additionally comprises elements for generating a tensile force in a tensile element intended to jbe coupled to a desired part of a vehicle clampled to the lifting table. Coupling elements comprise a seat with an essentially circular boundary wall and a coupling pin intended for interation with the seat, so that the tensile aligning appliance can be easily detachably coupled to the lifting table without the use of any loose mounting menas, in that the end of the lifting table interacting with the tensile aligning appliance has a circular arcshaped end edge and in that the tensile aligning appliance can be pivoted at the centre of the circular arc. |
