Title of Invention | AN IMPROVED PROCESS OF PREPARING SYNERGISTIC BIO-FERTILIZER |
---|---|
Abstract | To qbtain eco-friendly fertilizer which is cheaper and renewable source of plant nutrient in agricultural production, a novel process is developed for preparation of bio-fertilizers. From the vegetable waste and bio-degradable waste a bio-fertilizer is obtained by decomposing, by natural bacteria, fungus and mechanical means and mixed with cattle-dung, animals skin, poultry farm manure, pressed mud of sugar mills, sericulture waste, coconut fibers, bone powder and volcanic rock and granulized with the help of earthworm and bacterium culture azotobactet and rkizobium are added. |
Full Text | FORM - 3 A THE PATENTS ACT, 1970 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION SECTION 10 TITLE AN IMPROVED PROCESS OF PREPARING SYNERGISTIC BIO-FERTILIZER. The following Specification partlculariy detdbes and ascertain* the nature of thto Invention and the manner In which It b to be peifomied : - 3. This invention relates to a PROCESS OF PREPARATION OF BIO-FERTILIZER USING BIO-TECHNOLOGY & MICROBES. It has become imperative use bio-fertilizer as a cheaper and renewable source of plant nutrient in agriculture production because of depletion of soil fertility and sharp increase in prices of chemical fertilizers. Moreover, it is found in survey that the crops produced by chemical fertilizers are harmful to human life. Moreover, the manufacturing of chemical fertilizers causes heavy pollution. And therefore, it has become necessary to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and to shift towards natural fertilizers. It has become necessary to use organic and microbial inoculants. Therefore, demand has been created amongst the farming community and the use of bio-fertilizers has got momentum throughout the world. Nowadays also it is a big problem of disposal of vegetable waste and bio-degradable waste of city and residential zone. If these waste are not disposed of it causes bad smell, generation of bacteria and therefore, harmful for locality living nearby. This waste can be used for preparation of bio-fertilizer. This waste works as a base of bio-fertilizer containing effective strains for micro organism which can provide best results as plant nutrient through microbial activity. For better yield of any crop nitrogen is vitally essential plant nutrients as it is widely consumed by plants, most of soils are deficient of nitrogen. In the air, about 80% nitrogen is present but the plant can not use these nitrogen directly from the atmosphere and therefore, nitrogen fixing bacteria are required. Rkizobium is symbiotic bacterium which fixes atmospheric nitrogen in legumes plant by forming nodules and which is very useful to plants. While aiotobacter is free living gram negative nitrogen fixing bacterium which is capable of producing growth promoting substances as well as antibiotics which suppress and control plant pathogens. It also help in mineralization of plant nutrients and proliferation of useful microorganism. In the present invention the waste of vegetables and bio-degradable substances are collected and decomposed by natural bacteria and fungus and by mechanical means. These bio-degraded material is converted into uniform size particles by pulverizer. These material is mixed with cattle-dung, animal's skins, poultry farm manure, pressed mud of sugar nulls, sericulture waste, coconut fibers, bone powder and volcanic rocks in different proportion. This mixtures is then put to weather shaded pits. Water is sprinkled to maintain a temperature ambient for earthworms. In this pits earthworms are released and kept for 7 to 10 days till earthworm reaches at the dipper bottom. The upper granular portion of the pit is collected and to this bacterium culture azotobacter and rhizobium are added. This mixtures is prepared by this natural process is used as bio-fertilizer.This is an improved process of preparing synergistic bio fertilizer comprising of collecting waste vegetables, bio degradable substances, decomposing the mixture by natural bacteria and fungus by machanical means, pulverizing the mixture into uniform mesh size adding cattle dung, animals skin, poultry farm manure, pressed mud of sugar mills, sericultre waste, coconut fibers, bone powder and volcanic rock in different proportions composting the mixture in a pit, sprinkling water on the pit to maintain a temperature ambient for earth warms, releasing earth warms for decomposing thereby vermi compost is produced, adding becterium culture azotobacter and rhizobium nitrogen fixing bacterium to the vermi compost capable of producing growth promoting substances as well as antibiotics which supress and control plant pathogens thereby mineralizing plant nutrients and proliferating of useful microorganism. This naturally made bio-fertilizers granules make the land useful by a natural production of nitrogen in the land. This bio-fertilizer contains all essential major, micro and macro nutrients generated by a natural process without any type of pollution. It also contains bacteria and cocoons etc. which are useful for the land. This natural and eco-friendly fertilizer, the need of time, increases the fertility of land which is economical and also helps in waste management and pollution control. Moreover, land becomes live again. The earthworm are used in this process of preparation of bio-fertilizer as earthworms can eat very fast, continuously and excrete 90% to 95% of their eaten food in the form of granule, moreover, when earthworm are released on the upper crest, it eats and goes dipper towards the bottom and converting the entire mixtures into the granules. Moreover, while going down its reproduction process also takes place and young one earthworms and cocoons are useful for further process. The earthworm settled at the bottoms are collected and transferred to new earthworm pits. The remaining granular mask is passed through a sieve. Young ones of earthworms remains in the mask are also removed and transferred to fresh culture beds. WE CLAM: 1) An improved process of preparing synergistic bio fertilizer comprising the following steps, i)-collecting waste vegetables, bio degradable substances, ti)-decomposing the mixture by natural bacteria and fungus by machanical means; iii)- pulverizing the mixtyre into uniform mesh size; IV)-adding cattle dung, animals skin, poultry farm manure, pressed mud of sugar mills, sericultre waste, coconut fibers, bone powder and volcanic rock in different proportions; v) -composting the mixture in a pit; vi)-sprinkling water on the pit to maintain a temperature ambient for earth warms; vii).releasing eaxth warms for decomposing thereby vermi compost is produced; viti) -adding bectenum culture azotobacter and rhizobium nitrogen fixing bacterium to the vermi compost capable of producing growth promoting substances as well as antibiotics which supress and control plant pathogens thereby mineralizing plant nutrients and proliferating of useful microorganism.
