| Abstract | A liquid preparation comprising: an active acid neutralizing compound selected from the group consisting of calcium-containing compounds, aluminum-containing compounds, magnesium-containing compounds, and mixtures thereof; and an anti-microbial adjuvant selected from the group consisting of combinations of propylene glycol in an amount from 3 to 10 weight percent based on the total weight of the preparation, wherein the liquid antacid preparation contains 200 to 700 mg of active acid neutralizing compound per 5 ml of liquid antacid preparation. |
