| Abstract | IN COMPLEX PROCESSES DATA MAY BE COLLECTED THROUGHOUT VARIOUS STEPS OF THE PROCESS. CONVENTIONALLY, USERS GENERALLY HAVE TO MANUALLY LOCATE, EXTRACT AND FORMAT DESIRED DATA FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES, WHICH MAY BE TIME CONSUMING, CUMBERSOME AND HIGHLY ERROR PRONE. THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A METHOD FOR ANALYZING DAT FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES IN A PROCESS AND DISPLAYING THE DATA TO A USER. IN AN EMBODIMENT, DATA FROM A DISCRETE DATA DATABASE (102) AND/OR CONTINUOUS DATA DATABASE (104) MAY BE DATA MAPPED USING DATA MAPPING SOFTWARE (106) AND ANALYZED USING DATA ANALYSISSOFTWARE (108). THE PRESENT INVENTION ALSO PROVIDES A MAPPING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR DISPLAYING DATA TO A USER EMPLOYING A HIERARCHY INCLUDING DATA NODES AND DATA LEAVES. |
