The common problems faced by the users of known anti-dandruff products are, itching headache, increase in hair fall, besides these products are costly and non effective. The main object of this invention is to obviate the above mentioned problems of the existing products and to provide a herbal composition for preventing hair fall and dandruff with the help of a single product, which is very effective showing results almost instantly, that is just within two to three days of its use. Another object of this invention is to provide a herbal composition for preventing hair fall and dandruff which is purely an ayurvedic product free from any harmful effects or side effects. A further object of this invention is to provide a herbal composition for preventing hair fall and dandruff in which all the ingredients used are easily available locally or indigenously. A further object of this invention is to provide a herbal composition for preventing hair fall and dandruff which is quite cheap. A further object of this invention is to provide a process of producing the herbal composition for preventing hair fall and drandruff which is quite simple, easy and environment friendly. Accordingly this invention provides a herbal composition for preventing hair fall and dranduff comprising of Embiic Myrobalans (Amia) 7-35% by Wt., Compositae / Bhrangraj 7 - 35% by Wt.,/ Bixaorellana /Shikakai 10-50% by wt./ Rutaceac/Lime juice 7-35 by wt., Crude Carbonate of soda / Sajji mitti - 2-12% by wt. and Camphora Comphor 0.5-3%) by wt. prepared as water based or oil bound herbal composition / solution. Typically the herbal composition in which the said Amia, Bhrangraj & Lime juice is preferably 15-25% by wt. and more preferably 18-22% by wt. Typically the herbal composition in which the said Shikakai is preferably 25-40% by wt. and more preferably 30-35% by wt. Typically the herbal composition in which the said Camphor is preferably 1.5-2.5% by wt. and more preferably 1.5-2%) by wt. This invention also provides a process of producing herbal composition for pre¬venting hair fall and dranduff comprising the following steps : (i) mixing dry powder of the Amia, Bhrangraj, Shikakai and Sajji mitti in desired proportion and soaking in water taken four times in volume of the total weight of the mixture, for two to three days; (ii) boiling the mass till it reduces to half of its volume and filtering out the solution; (iii) boiling the filtered solution of the step (ii) to reduce the same to its half volume and then cooling for mixing herbal solution; (iv) mixing lime juice and camphor in desired proportion to the herbal solution of step (iii) forming a water based herbal composition of this invention. This invention also provides a process of producing herbal composition for preventing hair fall and dandruff comprising the following steps : (i) mixing Amla extract, Bhrangraj extract and Shikakai extract indesired proportion, (ii) mixing dry Sajji miltti powder and Citricacid in desired proportion and soaking in water taken two times in volume of the total weight of the mixture for about 24 hours, (iii) adding Paraffin oil in the mixture of the step (ii) in desired proportion and shaking for two to three hours and then separating out the paraffin oil; (iv) mixing the mixture of step (iii) into the mixture of step (i) forming herbal solution; (v) dissolving Camphor in desired amount in warm paraffin oil and mixing it with the solution of step (iv) forming the oil bound herbal composition. The said extract of Amla, Bhrangraj and Sikakai used are any readily available extracts such as of 20:1 or 15:1 of 10:1. The invention will be clear from the following description with reference to examples.
