| Title of Invention | "ANIMAL DRIVEN PUMP" |
|---|---|
| Abstract | 1. An animal driven pump comprising a lever on one end connected to a step up gear box having at least one flywheel as here in described, the output shaft of said gear box coupled to pump which liftwater from bore well/tube well, the said other end of lever is connected to animal which rotates the gear box. |
| Full Text | This invention relates to "Animal driven" Pump cum power Take off (P.T.O.) Machine and low cost diesel Electric saving, farmers self reliance and utilisation device. There is no need to stress upon the importance and necessity for research and development of harnessing alternative energy sources more particularly in remote rural areas and lifting water for Agriculture and other job in allied sectors. It is preferable to harness a source of energy which is naturally available because with a source the expenditure on energy input is very less. There are large numbers of cattle and man in the world. Which energy can be harnessed for more importantly lifting water from deep tube wells for irrigation purpose and for more common rural uses and upliftment. In present water is being lifted from the deep Tube wells/Bore Wells only by diesel Engine or electric pumpset. Which are very costly and expensive also. This invention provides a device or apparatus for converting the energy of lever and Alive in to machnical energy of rotation of a shaft which is coupled with centrifugal or Jet pump and Power Take off Pulley to operate any other devices such as generator and air compressor etc. in local use at village level at low cost. The apparatus developed in this invention is called "Lever and Alide drawn Pump" Cum Power Take Off Machine". Some of the advantages of this apparatus may be listed as follows: a. Design of the apparatus is simple. b. Direct conservation of energy of "Lever and Alive power." c. High efficiency firstly due to direct conservation of energy and secondly due to low frictional losses. d. Operation is easy and can be operated by Children also. e. No Fuel or electricity is required and operating cost is minimum. f. Cost of construction and installation is low. g. All types stationary machines such as water pump (up to 3000 RPM) Generator air compressor by this apparatus which does not require either fuel or electricity. h. Maintenance is simple and cheap, i. Much less cost of operation, g. Does not create pollution and above all. It is sustainable. No such simple device for lifting water from deep tube well/bore walls and open walls in use in India or abroad. In accordance with the invention there is provided a device called lever and alive drawn pump cum P.T.O. machine for converting energy of Lever and animal into mechanical energy of rotation and utilising it for pumping water and other agricultural jobs comprising at least suitable step up gear box for stepping up to sufficient level coupled with pump is mounted on the pipes mouth of the tube well. Pulley is fixed on out put shaft of the step up gear box before coupling the pump. Half ratchet and lever is coupled with in put shaft of steps up gear box. for stepping up speed of rotation on one end. Suitable Lever drawn by any cattle pair like buffaloes or one more male or camel or one or more men. Sufficient energy to braw lever can be given for required work by the apparatus, as to lift water or other job by belt pulley. Gear box is the main part of the apparatus, which used for stepping up the revolutions or drive pump at desired speed. And suitably choosing the pulley size at the out put shaft. The size of the gear box is suitably chosen requirement. The type & size of the pump can be choosen according to depth of tube well and according to available alive drawn power. apparatus described here is simple in construction and its operation does not require any fuel. The village artisans can easily fabricate the device and it can be installed with the technic skilled generally availy at village level. Operation of the apparatus is very simple & easy by reapping the cattle with lever & device belt pulley is utilized for operating other Machines. The pump can be disengaged, if required to push clutch lever or removing coupling on either side. The step the operation to recover the animal or cattle from lever. While, it has been illustrated and described of invention, it is to be understood that such is merely illustrative and not restrictive and that variations and modifications may be made therein without departure from the scope of the invention. It if, therefore, not to be limited to the precise details net forth but desired to avail of such changes as fall within the purview of this invention. I Claim 1. An animal driven pump comprising a lever on one end connected to a step up gear box having at least one flywheel as here in described, the output shaft of said gear box coupled to pump which liftwater from bore well/tube well, the said other end of lever is connected to animal which rotates the gear box. 2. A pump as claimed in claim 1 where in step up gear box having various gears of different ratio to create at least require/essential RPM. 3. A pump as claimed in claim 1 where in the pump is water lifting device like centrifugal pump/jet pump. 4. A pump/substantially as here in described and illustrated with accompanying drawings. |
