Abstract | A pipe lined buffer comprising: a first path for propagating a logic one, the first path including a plurality of moving spot stage, including a first and a last stage, wherein a data output of one stage is connected to a data input of the next stage to form a chain wherein each stage has an input connected to a tap of a rotary clock, adjacent stages in the chain being connected to different rotary clock taps, the input of the stage for receiving a positive logic signal, the output of the last stage being the output of the pipelined buffer, and wherein each stage includes a plurality of transistors and in each stage other than the first at least one of the transistors is larger compared to a transistor in a previous stage; and a second path for propagating a logic zero, the second path including a plurality of moving spot stages, including a first and a last stage, wherein a data output of one stage is connected to a data input of the next stage to from a chain, wherein each stage has an input connected to a tap of the rotary clock, adjacent stages in the chain being connected to different rotary clock taps, the input of the first stage, for receiving a negative logic data signal, the last stage including an inverter that connects to the output of the last stage of the first path, and wherein each stage includes a plurality transistors and in each stage other than the first at least one of the transistors is larger compared to a transistor in a previous stage. |
