The following specification particularly describes the nature of the invention and the manner in
which it is to be performed:

Title: - Silver Recovery System
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for the recovery of Silver from Electrolytic solutions.
Description of Existing Silver Recovery Systems: -
In existing Silver Recovery system photographic film silver compounds are dissolved into the fixing solution to an extent where the silver reduces the effectiveness of the solution. It is known to remove silver electro-chemically from the used fixing solution to provide a silver free solution, which can be replenished by the addition of suitable quantities of fixing chemicals, and reused.
A silver recovery system is described in the disclosure of U.S. Pat. No. 3,003,942, N. J. Cedrone, Oct. 10, 1961, that system is designed to operate at high current densities and requires the constant physical agitation of the electrolytic solution, and involves a relatively complex apparatus which requires considerable supervision and maintenance.
The existing Silver Recovery System has many disadvantages over the present invention some of them are mentioned below: -
The Silver recovered from existing system is not relatively pure.
The existing system is designed to operate at high current densities and requires the constant physical agitation of the electrolytic solution, and involves a relatively complex apparatus, which requires considerable supervision and maintenance.
The prior devices is of excessive physical size in order to provide sufficient cathode area, and is prone to the loss of silver at the overflow due to lack of an effective means of concentrating the silver at the bottom of the tank.
The objective of present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of Existing Recovery System.
The main objective of present invention is to provide a method and apparatus for the efficient recovery of Silver from electrolytic solutions.
The present invention provides a simple Apparatus, which does not, requires considerable supervision and maintenance.
The Silver Recovered from present System is relatively pure.
It provides capacity of 60 to 200 liters.

Detail Description of Present Invention: -
The present invention can be explained in detail with the help of figure 1,figure 2 and figure 3 of accompanying drawing.
Figure 1-A. shows Board and its connection for recovery of silver from Fixer and Hypo.
Figure 1-B shows Board and its connection for recovery of silver from color Bleach.

Figure 1 illustrates Switch of 3.4 a fixer position (3), toggle switch on fixer position (upwards)(7), D.P switch (4), speed control for fixer (3), power cord going to electrode (6), Speed meter for fixer (hypo)(2), strip connected between common terminal and fixer terminal (1), speed meter for bleach (8), strip connected between common terminal & fixer terminal (Al).
Figure 2 illustrates Black plate holder (9), black plate fixing strip (10).
Figure 3 illustrates Big pulley (12), wing nut to fix /remove electrode (11), handle to move copper forward (13), plate electrode (14).
Figure 4 illustrates total plate fitting (15).
The entire Present Invention consists of:
Non-magnetic stainless steel rotating drum, which acts as Anode, electrolyte solution with high conductivity, PVC tank with low voltage, two parallel plates fitted in PVC tank with angle frame structure plate working as Cathode.
In present system Drum (Anode) is rotating between PVC Tank with low voltage Supply as anode and near anodes (Drums) both side parallel two plates are fitted in P.V.C Tank with angle frame structure plate working as Cathode earthing (neutral) is given with angle frame supply starts and the machine starts working as Silver Recovery System

Metal alley cylinder electrode is to be fixed in the pedestal. This can be easily removed
by unscrewing the cylinder current is supplied to through a bus connected to terminal at
penal board through cable for removing the cylinder, first remove the v-belt from the
unit. Insert a screwdriver or Red (to help the shaft above the cylinder) inside a hele given
on the shaft fitted above the cylinder. Tightly help screwdriver and move cylinder
clockwise to remove the cylinder.
two black plates are fixed on alley -bar between the strip holder fitted on the bar with
nuts belts . Now the two black plate electrodes are fixed on either side of cylinder
electrode and dip in plastic drum. And wings nuts get tighten.
V- belt is put on motor pulley and pulley of cylinder electrode and three-pin top is
connected main line single-phase 230/250 volts AC
D.P main switch with indicator is the main switch for 'on' and 'off of the whole unit.
Selector strip at the bottom and toggle switch for 'on' and 'off of the whole unit feeding
of current to electrode for fixer or color bleach.
Speed is controlled by continuously moving knob below the DP main switch.
Advantages of Present Invention: -
The present inventions have many advantages over present invention, some of them are mentioned below :-
The present invention provides a simple Apparatus, which does not, requires considerable supervision and maintenance.
The Silver Recovered from present System is relatively pure.
It provides capacity of 60 to 200 liters.
