| Abstract | The present invention relates to a solid pharmaceutical composition for oral adminstration comprising tegaserod in base or salt form in an amount of up to 10% by weight, a diluent in an amount of 70 to 90% by weight, a disintegrant in an amount of less than 15% by weight, and wherein the amounts by weight are based on the total weight of the composition. The present invention also relates to a process for the production of a solid pharmaceutical composition as claimed in any preceding claim which process is carried out under substantially dry conditions using granulation. |
