| Abstract | The present invention relates to transparent soap composition. The invention more particularly relates to transparent soap compositions comprising the salt of 12-hydroxystearic acid or a precursor thereof. Thus the present invention relates to a transparent soap bar composition comprising 30 to 60% of total fatty matter wherein 1 to 15% is the salt of 12-hydroxystearic acid or a precursor thereof, 20 to 50% of at least one polyhydric alcohol and water. |
