| Abstract | The present invention relates to a radio system, for setting a communication area, includes a transmission section 301 including: a modulation section 311 for producing a modulation signal; a gain controller 312 which controls a transmission output; a power amplification section 313 for amplifying a transmission signal to a desired level; and an antenna 314, and a receiving section 302 including: an antenna 321; a frequency converter 322 which converts into an immediate frequency, a high frequency signal received by way of the antenna; ad demodulation section 323 which demodulates the intermediate frequency; a decode section 324 which converts a demodulated signal into digital data; and a receiving rate detector 324b which detects a receiving rate for each of frames of a received signal. The communication area can be freely changed by means of changing the transmission output controlled by the gain controller 312 on the basis of the receiving rate for each frame detected by the receiving rate detector 324b. |
