| Abstract | A Process of making an aqueous extract of medicinal plant is disclosed. The process can be used for making aqueous extracts of medicinal plants such as Ashwagandha [Withania somnifera]. Shatavari [asparagus racemosus], emblica offficinalis [Avla], tribulus terrestris [gokshur]and tinospora cordifolia [guduchi]. The multistage process involves repeated washing of the coarse powder of the plant parts and recovery of the extract from the decanted solution. |
