Abstract | A toothbrush and toothpaste holder of the type that has two different cylindrical-shapes of which one side is a usual cup shape where a toothpaste can be stored while the other side that the cylinder has higher degrees of taper and shrinking down to the bottom where is open but has a cone shaped post with eight dividers that could hold eight toothbrushes in a sanitary position automatically by gravity. |
Full Text | Technical Field The invention relates to an apparatus for holding items. Background Art Sunmarizing the technical background of toothbrush and toothpaste holder, it is kn-own that many different shapes of circular, quadranglar or even triangular cup-like co ntainers have been developing and using for storing toothbrushes and toothpaste togeth er in a casual and careless manner however, due to the sanitary concern such as toothbr ush codd conuDunicate a disease such as hepatitis, so that more complicated configura-tion of containers were developed to hold die toothbrushes in separate compartments a nd can be removed without disturbing other toothbrushes and furthermore, as filed in U.S. patent application Serial No. US62863190 that discloses and claims a toothbrush holder that supports one or more toothbrushes, and an litraviolet irradiating light devic e to treat the brush and thus kill any germs present within the brush. However, most of the cases, the newly developed toothbrush and toothpaste holders were not firee from th e complicated configiration that eventually resulted the holders should be mounted on the wall and additionally, electric (for the holders with ultraviolet light device) wiring i s required to supply electricity. Above all, the newly developed holders are not as easy -to-use as to the conventional cup shape holders. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem The technical problem is to develop a toothbrush and toothpaste holder, which is eq ually easy to handle toothbrush and toothpaste when msert to and remove from the con tainer compare with the conventional cap shape holder and at the same time, it should be able to store the toothbrushes not distuitting other toothbrushes for a sanitary reason Technical Solution Hie present invention discloses a sanitizing toothbrush and toothpaste holder coosis ts of two different cylindrical-shapes where one (could be more by die size) toothpaste rest in one side and one or up to eight toothbrushes can rest on the other side, which ha s eight compartments created by cone shaped post in the middle with eight dividers. Advantageous Effects In accordance with the present invention, a toothbrush and toothpaste holder f Figure 1 is a perspective view (a bird's eye view) of a toothbrush and toothpaste hol der Figure 2 is a deal drawing that shows the main body of the holder with a cone shape d post having eight dividers Figure 3 is a plan view of the holder Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view taken generally along the line 1-1 in figpre 3 Figure 5 is a front view (elevation view) of the holder Figre 6 is a bottom view of the holder Figure 7 is a perspective view of the holdar with eight toothbrushes and one toothpa ste are slightly tilted outward by gravity Figire 8 is a perspective view of the holder with eight pencils (or ballpoint pens) ar e slightly tilted outward by gravity Figure 9 is a perepective view focusing on front face and bottom area and showing t he holder with two sucking disks on the front face and a double faced sticker on the bo ttom Best Mode for Invention An exemplary embodiment of a toothbrush and toothpaste holder is that the unit co nsists of two different cylindrical-shapes that the one side 1 of the container is slightly tapped cup shape, which is designed to hold one toothpaste together with other beauty supplies such as combs and brushes as the remaining space is available. The other side 2 of the container has higher degrees of taper so that shrinking down quickly to the bot torn where is open thrctgh but has a cone shaped post 4 with eight wing-shaped divide rs 3 that caid hold one or ip to eight toothbrushes, which are slightly tilted outward a utomatically by gravity. It eventually results the holder to be able to store vp to eight to othbrushes in a sanitary manner as the toothbrushes are not disturbing each other. The nature and mode of operation of preferred embodunents of the present inventio n will now be more My described in the following detailed description, taken with the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a perspective view of the container focusing on the top portion of the fin ished predict that shows two different cylindrical shapes. Further looking at Figire 3 a nd Figure 4, one side of the container 1 appears to be typically slightly tilted round-sha ped cup. The other side of container 2 is greatly tilted that circumference of the top is much greater than the bottom. It is composed of eight wing-shaped dividers 3 which ar e attached to a cone shaped post 4 in the opened middle body. For further understandin g Figire 2 shows a cubic delineation of a cone shaped post 4 with eight wings 3 howe ver these are the parts of a container which is a single body (one piece) mold injected p lastic product. Figure 7 is a finished product that actually shows toothbrushes and a toothpaste rest in the contamar. Eight toothbrushes are tilted outward by its own gravity. The gravity p revents the toothbrush's body and bristles from touchmg each other. In addition, becaus e of the bottom of the container is opened, any moisture on the toothbrush will be drain ed to the bottom of the container that keeps toothbrushes more sanitary. Figure 8 is a finished prodxt utilizing as a utensil holder. Utensils such as glue, rul er and scissors can be stored in the one side 1 of the container and as seen in the pictur e, the other side 2 can hold pendls or mechanical pencils but the leads will not break b y the lifted bottom and narrow gap shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4 Figure 9 is a finished product where two sucking disks 8 are attached to snowman-s haped holes 7 on the front face 5 and a dafole faced sticker 9 on the bottom 6 that expl ains the holder can be easily mounted on the wall or flat table by using sucking disks 8 or double faced sticker(s) 9 depends on the condition of surface to be mounted. We Claims :- 1) An apparatus for holding items, comprising: a first holder unit having a cup shape; and a second holder unit having inwardly tapered sides that shrink down to an open through bottom end of the second holder unit, chacterized in that a cone shaped post with a predetermined number of dividers is provided at said bottom end to hold a number of items distanced from each other and resting on said sides of the second holder unit in an outwardly tilted position. 2) The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first holder unit is configured to hold toothpaste and the second holder unit is configured to hold toothbrushes. 3) The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first and second holder units are configured to hold utensils. 4) The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein said post comprises eight dividers to hold up to eight items. 5) The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, comprising two sucking disks on the side face or a double faced sticker (s) on the bottom or vice versa for moxmting said apparatus on the wall or on the flat table. |
