| Abstract | The present invention describes a method and printing device for automatically selecting optimim print resolution of a document submitted for printing. As a result, the method prevents printing of a document at a print rresolution higher than what is optimally required for that document.A printing device is provided with a module for scanning pixel information of the document submitted for printing.The information gathered by scanning the document is then used to determine the optimal print resolution at which the document should be printed. |
