Full Text | I Claim: 1. A smart electronic voting machine is used in conducting free, fair and impartial elections by maintaining a record of voter identity and vote casting proceedings, said smart electronic voting machine comprising of; a smart unit; a voting unit; a storage unit; an identifying unit; a result matching unit; a display unit; a means for maintaining a record of vote casting proceedings; and a means to access voter identity record database. 2. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said smart unit is adapted to take photograph, scan, collect, protect and record the related data of the voter. 3. A smart electronic voting as claimed in claim 2, wherein said smart unit scans the fingerprints of the voter. 4. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said identifying unit is equipped to read the fingerprints of the voter. 5. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said result matching unit is equipped to match the fingerprints of the voter to determine the authenticity of voter. 6. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said display unit is in form of a screen interface to display the proceedings, results and voter's data . 7. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said voting unit comprises of touch screen voting element and keypad voting element. 8. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 7, wherein said touch screen voting element is used when the voter is located at a place distant to his electoral area. 9. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said storage unit is equipped to store the results of the voting exercised by the voter for obtaining a printout at a subsequent stage at the time of counting. 10. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means for maintaining a record of vote casting proceedings and events are in the form of a wide lens recording camera. 11. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means to send the vote casted from the other place and save it in the original smart voting machine through internet based connectivity, satellite based connectivity, mobile or a special wireless communication system. 12. A smart electronic voting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said machine has a secure system for electronic voting which comprises of: a smart electronic voting machine; a means for linking up said smart electronic voting machine with original smart voting machine of the government; and a means for computing the results of the election conducted. 13. A method for using the smart voting machine for free and fair elections is as follows: i. Step of making smart electronic voting machine available to voting area of an electoral constituency; ii. Step of conducting the voting exercise with smart electronic voting machine; and iii. Step of using of the smart electronic voting machine by the voter to cast vote. 14. The method as claimed in claim 13, for using the smart electronic voting machine, wherein said step 'i' further comprises of installing said smart electronic voting machines in the various electoral area, carrying said smart electronic voting machines to remote locations or carrying said smart electronic voting machine to the location of voters who are unable to travel and move. 75. The method as claimed in claim 13. for using the smart electronic voting machine, wnerein said step 'in' further comprises of following steps : i. Scanning the finger prints of the voter, with said scanning being done by the scanner unit; ii. Identifying the fingerprints of the voter, with said reading or identification of fingerprints being done by an identifying unit of said smart electronic voting machine; iii. Matching the fingerprints of the voter to determine the authenticity of voter using said smart electronic voting machine; iv. Displaying the results of proceedings as well as voter's data; v. Enabling the voter to cast his vote after subsequent matching of fingerprints; and, vi. Storing the results of votes cast by the eligible voter. 16.A Smart voting machine, Substantially as hereinbefore described with reference tot the fore going examples accompanying drawings. |
