OIL CIRCULATING STRUCTURE IN ENGINE FOR MOTORCYCLE AND THREE-WHEELED VEHICLE

Abstract

[Subject] To sufficiently secure the volume of an oil reservoir, avoiding that a crankcase is protruded downward and backward in an engine for a motorcycle and a three-wheeled vehicle in which a crank chamber housingmost of a crankshaft and an oil reservoir arranged on the rear side of the crankshaft are formed in the crankcase with them partitioned and a return pump for returning oil on the side of the crank chamber to the oil reservoir is attached to the crankcase. [Solving Means] A return pump 127 is attached to a lower part of a crankcase 14 in front of a crankshaft 12 and a return pipe 145 for leading oil discharged from return from the return pump 127 to the side of an oil discharged from the return pump 127 to the side of an oil reservoir 125 is arranged under the crankshaft 12 in a crank chamber 124.
