| Abstract | A housing for an air filter is disclosed. The housing comprises a cylindrical body having two ends: a vacuum source end and a filter introducing end. The vacuum source end defines an end wall and a clean air outlet port. The housing also comprises an air inlet port defined in the body and a rigid metal support means for supporting a filter element, at least a portion of the support means being embedded in the end wall of the support means spanning the outlet port opening. |
