TITLE OF THE INVENTION A NOVEL WATER DISPERSIBLE AGRICULTURAL COMPOSITION 2. APPLICANT: (a). Name: Deepak Pranjivandas Shah (b). Nationality: Indian (c). Address: 501/502, Vandana Apartments, Janki Kutir, Juhu Church Road, Juhu, Mumbai- 400 009 Maharashtra 3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION Technical field The present invention relates to a novel water dispersible granular composition for agrochemicaf and public health use. Ths invention also relates to a novel process for preparation of the novel water dispersible granular composition. Background of the invention Many biologically active substances, both in the solid as well as liquid or low melting solid forms have been invented and used as formulations in the agriculture industry. The final formulation may be either a solid or a liquid and out of which non-dusty free flowing water dispersible granules (herein after referred to as WG) are preferred. WG formulations are favored over powder or liquid formulations due to various user and environment friendly advantages, such as ease of handling, easy storage and packaging and lack of non-biodegradable, toxic and flammable organic solvents. The liquid active substances are commonly formulated as emulsifiable concentrates (EC), soluble liquids (SL), and to certain extent emulsions in water (EW). The final product obtained in all the.above mentioned formulations is liquid, which is not so preferable for the reasons mentioned above. In order to overcome the problems associated with liquid'formulations containing liquid actives, WP formulations containing liquid actives have been prepared and are in use. But these products pose exposure risk.not only to the workers and users but also to the environment US 5739081 describes a water dispersible granular formulation suitable for agricultural applications and a method for preparing the granules, according to which the active ingredient in the liquid form, is absorbed into a blank granule which forms the WG. the active ingredient in the liquid form, is absorbed into a blank granule which forms the WG. Difficulties arise when preparing a formulation combining a solid active and a liquid or low-melting active. US 6410481 describes water dispersible granules comprising a solid active and a liquid active prepared from aqueous suspo-emulsions of the active components. The use of suspo-emulsions can cause several problems due to crystallization, coalescence and agglomeration of emulsion droplets etc. Another drawback of the process is the drying of the suspo-emulsion which is the most crucial step in the entire process, as many problems can arise during evaporation of the solvent in the drying step. Hence, there is a long felt need for a water dispersible granular composition comprising solid and liquid or low-melting' actives, which overcomes the drawbacks of prior art and displays the advantages of flowable formulations and high efficacy and also a simple process for manufacturing the same. Summary of the invention The present invention relates to a novel water dispersible granular composition comprising a) granules comprising at least one solid agrochemically active substance and at least one sorptive filler; and b) at least one liquid or low melting agrochemically active substance and optionally at least one agrochemically acceptable additive absorbed in the granules. The present invention also relates to a novel process for preparation of the novel water dispersible granular composition comprises the steps of: 1. preparing a fine suspension or dispersion of at least one solid agrochemically active substance and at least one agrochemically acceptable additive in water; 2. preparing separately a powder mix of at least one sorptive filler, at least one diluent and at least one surfactant; 3. blending the suspension or dispersion of step 1 with the powder mix of step 2 to get a wet mass; 4. extruding and drying the wet mass of step 3 to get water dispersible granules of the at least one solid agrochemically active substance; 5. preparing an emulsifiable concentrate of at least one liquid or low melting agrochemically active substance and at least one agrochemically acceptable additive; and 6. absorbing the emulsified concentrate of step 5 in the water dispersible granules of step 4. The present invention further relates to a method of application of an effective amount of a novel water dispersible granular composition, the novel water dispersible granular composition comprising a) at least one solid agrochemically active substance and at least one sorptive filler; and b) at least one liquid or low melting agrochemically active substance and optionally at least one agrochemically acceptable additive absorbed in the granules, in agricultural or horticultural crops, forestry, veterinary medicine or livestock husbandry, or pests in cases for public health. The present invention further relates to a kit comprising a novel water dispersible composition and a plurality of instructions for a method of application of the novel water dispersible composition. Detailed description In describing the embodiment of the invention, specific terminology is resorted for the sake of clarity. However, it is not intended that the invention be limited to the specific terms so selected and it is to^be understood that each specific term includes all technical equivalents that operate in a similar manner to accomplish a similar purpose. The present invention relates to a novel water dispersible granule composition comprising a) granules comprising at least one solid agrochemically active substance and at least one sorptive filler; and b) at least one liquid or low melting agrochemically active substance and optionally at least one agrochemically acceptable additive absorbed in the granules. The solid agrochemically active substance may be selected from biocides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, acaricides, nematicides, pheromones, plant growth regulators and/or repellents. The liquid or low-melting agrochemically active substance may be selected from biocides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, acaricides, nematicides, pheromones and/or repellents. In an embodiment of the invention, the solid agriculturally active substance can have an average particle size of less than 15 microns. In an embodiment of the invention, the sorptive filler is selected from perlite, diatomaceous earth, kaolin, bentonite, precipitated silica etc.. In an embodiment, the agrochemically acceptable additive is selected from a group consisting of diluent fillers like mica, calcite, lactose etc.; dispersing agents, wetting agents, adhesive, solvents, surfactants and/or emulsifiers etc. However, those skilled in the art will appreciate that it is possible to utilize other agrochemically acceptable additives and adjuvants known in the art without departing from the scope of the invention. Another embodiment of the invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of the novel water dispersible granular composition comprising the steps of: 1. preparing a fine suspension or dispersion of at least one solid agrochemically active substance and at least one agrochemically acceptable additive in water; 2. preparing separately a powder mix of at least one sorptive filler, at least, one diluent and at least one surfactant; 3. blending the suspension or dispersion of step 1 with the powder mix of step 2 to get a wet mass; 4. extruding and drying the wet mass of step 3 to get water dispersible granules of the at least one solid agrochemically active substance; 5. preparing an emulsifiable concentrate comprising at least one liquid or low melting agrochemically active substance and at least one agrochemically acceptable additive; and, 6. absorbing the emulsifiable concentrate of step 5 in the water dispersible granules of step 4. The present invention further relates to a method of application of an effective amount of a novel water dispersible granular composition, wherein the novel water. dispersible granular composition can comprise a) at least one solid agrochemically active substance and at least one sorptive filler; and b) at least one liquid or low melting agrochemically active substance and optionally at least one agrochemically acceptable additive absorbed in the granules, in agricultural or horticultural crops, forestry, veterinary medicine or livestock husbandry, or pests in cases for public health. The present invention further relates to a kit comprising a novel water dispersible composition and a plurality of instructions for a method of application of the novel water dispersible composition. The novel water dispersible granular composition of the invention exhibits high dispersibility, suspensibility, enhanced bio-efficacy and broader spectrum of activity. Additionally, there are several other advantages with regard to packing, transportation, storage, toxicity, etc. The process allows for the preparation of water dispersible granular composition comprising at least one solid and at least one liquid active, in a simple, cost-effective and environmentally safe manner.
