| Title of Invention | A TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM |

| Abstract | The embodiments herein provide a collaborative transport management system with plurality of collaboration devices which communicate with each other using an underlying protocol. According to an embodiment, the system comprises of personnel information database; a location server; a transportation management server; a Geographical Information Service (GIS) server; a vehicle monitoring wireless collaborator device and a communication server. The transportation management server acts as an administrator for the entire system. The location server stores and facilitates transfer of location information of vehicle to the transportation management server. The GIS server is used for capturing, storing, analyzing and managing data and associated attributes of personnel which are spatially referenced to the Earth. The vehicle monitoring wireless collaborator device is adapted to interact with the transportation management server in accordance with predefined instructions. The embodiments of the current invention provide a transport management system and method for more secure, optimised and effective transportation system for personnel/employee working in an organization. |
