APPLICANT: NAME : MR HARESH MEHTA NATIONALITY: INDIAN NATIONAL ADDRESS : JAYANT HOUSE, BAIL BAZAR ANDHERI-KURLA ROAD KURLA, MUMBAI400 070 MAHARASHTRA, INDIA 3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION: The following specification describes die invention: 1 FIELD OF INVENTION: The invention relates to a compact multipurpose display system, which is enclosed in a fully openable envelope. BACK GROUND OF INVENTION: Several types of display systems are currently available. However most of mem are for single purpose and do not allow flexibility. Not many of them are not sufficiently compact. The present invention describes a compact multipurpose display system, ideally suited for use as a shade card, swatch card , or disc holder or could be used in various types of teaching aids. When used as a shade card or swatch display, it allows easy comparison of fabric or shades. The display system provides its own cover and can be secured for easy use. The invention has the potential of finding application in various industries, in addition to various types of packaging industry. SUMMARY: In its main aspect the invention relates to a compact multipurpose display system The compact display system is enclosed in a fully openable envelope consisting of: (i) A quadrate sleeved base, having a similarly sized flap end with a bridge and flap, and an oppositely located insert end to receive flap, and the sleeve open at both ends. The flap end, folds around the bridge and encloses the base. (ii) An inwardly placed fixed loop is located at the insert end of the base, and placed parallel to the sleeves; (iii) A similarly sized sleeved and looped display card, is slidably connected to the base, through the loop of the base, and the sleeve of the display card, and die display card in turn is slidably connected similarly to one or more display cards through the loop and the sleeve of the subsequent display card . 2 In another aspect of this invention, die insert in the base card is fonned by a second sleeve, perpendicularly and outwardly placed in relation to the first sleeve. In a further aspect of mis invention, the flap end is uoidered by 3 flaps with corresponding insert on the base. In a improved aspect of this invention, die base and/or display cards have a window, to support any display . In the final aspect of this invention, die display system as described above is made from bio-degradable material like paper or cardboard. 3 DESCRIPTION: The following is a brief description of the preferred embodiment of the invention: In its main embodiment the invention relates to a compact multipurpose display system. The compact display system is enclosed in a fully openable envelope,(l) for easy carriage. A quadrate sleeved base,(3) having a similarly sized flap end (5) with bridge (7) and flap(9), and an oppositely located insert end (11) to receive flap, and the sleeve open at both ends.( 13). The flap end, folds around the bridge and flap and encloses the base. The flap is received within die insert, like an envelope. The quadrate is either a rectangle or a square. An inwardly placed fixed loop (15) is located at the insert end of the base, and placed parallel to the sleeves; A similarly sized sleeved and looped display card (17), is slidably connected to the base, through die loop of die base, and die sleeve of die display card. This display card in turn is slidably connected similarly to one or more display cards (18) duough die loop and die sleeve of die subsequent display card such thai each display card slides over die previous card to rest wiuiin die envelope when the flap is fixed wiuiin die insert. The sleeve in each of die display cards could be used to store any flat article, like a compact disc or coasters. The invention could also be used to display various attributes on die face of die display card like alphabets or animals, which could be used as a teaching aid. in anodier embodiment of this invention, die insert in die base card is formed by a second sleeve, perpendicularly and outwardly placed in relation to die first sleeve. This is particularly advantageous, when die display system ie die base and each of the display cards are made out of foldable cutouts, (Fig ) and is easy to secure die flap within the second sleeve which serves as an insert. 4 In an improved embodiment of this invention, the flap end is bordered by 3 flaps with corresponding insert on the-base. This way the envelope is closed on ail sides, and secures the contents. In a further embodiment of this invention, the base and/or display cards have a window. The window may be of any shape, and could be used to support any display, which could range from shade cards or swatches, and could be seen through the window. In the preferred embodiment of this invention, die display system as described above is made from bio-degradable material like paper or cardboard, which is precut to the required dimension, and fully foklable to form the quadrate base and the display cards which are connected to each other through the loop and the sleeve, as seen at Fig: The invention offers a great deal of flexibility, and could be applied to various industries, in addition to packaging for various industries. D CLAIMS: 1. A compact multipurpose display system , enclosed in a fully openable envelope, consisting of i. A quadrate sleeved base, having a similarly sized flap end, foldable around a bridge and flap, and an oppositely located insert end to receive flap, and the sleeve open at both ends, ii. An Inwardly placed fixed loop at insert end of the base, parallel to the sleeves; iii. An similarly sized sleeved and looped display card, slidably connected to the base, through the loop of die base, and the sleeve of the display card, and the display card in turn slidably connected similarly to one or more display cards through the loop and die sleeve of the subsequent display card 2. A display system as claimed in claim 1, where in the insert in the base card is a second sleeve, perpendicularly and outwardly placed in relation to the first sleeve. 3. A display system as claimed in claim 1 where in the flap end is bordered by 3 flaps with corresponding insert en die base. 4. A display system as claimed in claim 2 and 3 , where in the base and/or display cards have a window. 5. A display system as claimed in claim 4 where in the window, supports a display. 6. A display system as claimed in claim 2, 3 and 5, where in the sleeve in the display card and/or base card supports a display, which is seen through die window. 7. A display system as claimed in claim 6, where in die envelope with base and/or display cards are made of bio-degradaWe material including paper or card board. ~T>*£* Hk^, t£*4*J° d ** MusrUc^ KAG-OU.
