Abstract

The invention discloses a pentapeptide, or salt thereof, the pentapeptide comprising a general formula (7): R1 -AA1 -R2 -Pro1 -AA2 -Gly-AA3 -R (7) where Pro1 represents an amino acid selected from the group consisting of Pro and dehydro- Pro, AA1 represents Phe, AA2 represents an amino acid selected from the group consisting of Leu, Ile, Arg, D-Arg, and Trp, AA3 represents Trp; R is selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, a carbamyl group, an alkylcarbamyl group, and analkoxycarbonyl group; and, R1 and R2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a sulphydryl group, an alkylamino group, and a dialkylamino group.
