| Abstract | This invention relates to a fusion protein comprising (a) a fusion of an anti- fungal protein (AFP) and an antibody fragment, wherein AFP is N-terminal and is selected from the group of proteins consisting of chitinases, Raphanus sativus, Aspergillus giganteus, Zea Mays, and the antibody fragment is C-terminal and is selected from the group consisting of scFv CWPD2, scFv SGB3 and scFv FPCWP AS, specifically recognising an epitope of an Ascomyceta and (b) a cellular targeting sequence. This invention also relate to a method for the production of a Ascomyceta- resistant transgenic plants, plant cells or plant tissues. |
