Title of Invention | "A FLYING INSECT TRAPPING DEVICE" |
---|---|
Abstract | This invention relates to a flying insects/mosquito trap. The insects/mosquito has a chamber having a plurality of transparent flaps. The transparent flaps are provided in the middle of the sides of the chamber such that to be opened into the chamber upon switching on the induced draft fan. The induced draft fan is provided at the bottom end of the chamber. A mosquito net is provided near the bottom end so as to retain the trapped mosquitoes inside the chamber. The violet lamps are provided within the chamber near the transparent flaps to attract the mosquitoes. An openable top cover is provided on the other end of the chamber for releasing the trapped mosquitoes in the outside environment. |
Full Text | This invention relates to a flying insect and mosquito Mosquito net, insecticidelspray, repellent in the form of cream and mat, sticking hape or electrocutors are as such known in the art to keep the mosquitoes away or to kill them. However, there are disadvantages associated with (the prior art. One of the main disadvantage is that the mosquito net is useful only in the night time. Also if the mosquito get in to the net they can not come out and bite the user. Another disadvantage is that the insecticidel spray, repellent are toxic in nature and hence harmful to the user. Yet another disadvantage is that after some time these items lose their effectiveness as the mosquito become immune to these items. Therefore the made object of this Invention is to propose a flying insect/mosquito trap Another object of this this invertion is to propose a trap preflerably a mosquito trap wherein preferably a mosquito trap wherein outside. Yet another object of this invertion is to propose a device/trap which is novel in construction, officienton in working and is not at all harmfel to the users. Still another object of this invention is a trap which is a multipurpose device which is Suspented Particulate Mother (SPM) in the air by filtaration, ii) it act like a night lamp and also looks like a decoration piece in the bowse. tropping Device According to this inventions there is provided a flying insects/mosquito trap comprising a chamber having a plurality of transparent flaps being provideded in th middle of the sides of said chamber such that to be oposed into the chamber upon switching on the induced A flying insects/mosquitoes trap according to a preferred to a embodiment is here in described Fig. 1 shows the plan view of the trap . Referring to the drawings particularly fig. 1 the device for trapping flying insects and 3 of said chamber 1. A transparent flap 4 is secured at the sides of said chamber such that the operings are opesed when the incluced draft fan 5 is switched on. The incluced draft fan 5 is provided at bottom and of the chamber 1 such that to produce draft inside the chamber in order to suck the insects/mosquitoes which are near the openings 2. Ultra violet lamps 6 are provided inside the chamber 1 towards the opening 2 to attract; the mosquitoes towards it. A mosquito net 7 is disposed within the chamber 1 near the end at which the draft fan 5 is provided so as to retain the insects/mosquitoes sucked into the chamber 1. An openahle cover 8 is hinged at the top end of said chamber BO as to release trapped insects/mosquitoes in the environment. Seats 9 are provided to provide sealing at the flaps 4 when the flaps are in the closed position during rion operation of the device. A front grill 10 is provided to cover the induced fan 5. An opening/Blot 1.1 is provided at the one side of said chamber such that to insert the mosquito net 7 into said chamber. The mosquito net 7 is withdrawn from said chamber through said opening/slot 11 for cleaning purposes. Brackets 12 are secured at the sides of the chamber .1 for mounting the device on the walls of the room. WE CLAIM 1. A flying insect/mosquito trapping device comprising a chamber (1) having a plurality of openings (2), a transparent flap (4) secured at the middle of the sides (3) of the chamber (1), a fan (5) disposed at the bottom end of the chamber, ultra violet lamps (6) disposed inside the chamber mm the openings (2), a moaquito net being disposed within the chamber near the fan (3), an operable top cover (8) being provided at the top end of said chamber characterized in that the draft induced inside the chamber (1) by the fan (5) sucks in the insects/mosquitoes through the openings (2) opened by moving the flaps (4) inwards the chamber from the seats (9), registering in sealing contact with the flaps (4) during non operation of the device, the insects/mosquitoes so sucked in being trapped in the chamber by the mosquito net (7) being adopted for purification of room air simultaneously from suspended particulars matter and the said cover (8) being openable to release trapped insects/mosquitoes. 2. A trapping device as claimed in claim 1 where in openings (2) are provided on the sides (3) of said chamber for allowing, entering of the insects/mosquitoes into said chamber during operation of the device. 3. A trapping device as claimed in claim 1 wherein said cover (8) as hinged at one side of the end of the chamber. 4 A trapping device as claimed in claim 1 where in a front grill (10) is provided to cover the said induced draft fan. 3. A trapping device as claimed in claim 1 wherein an opening/slot (II) is provided at one side of said chamber for inserting said mosquito net into said chamber of the device. 6. A flying insect/mosquito trappmg device as claimed in claim 1 wherein brackets (12) are secured at the sides of the chamber (I) for mounting the device on the walls of the room. 7. A flying insect/mosquito trapping device substantially as herein described and illustrated |
