| Abstract | A process of making an aqueous extract of medicinal plant is disclosed. The process can be used for making aqueous extracts of medicinal plants such as tinospora cordifolia [guduchi]. The multistage process involves repeated maceration of the coarse powder of the plant parts and recovery of the extract from the decanted solution by vacuum extraction. |
