| Abstract | An improved process for the manufacture of BQN-dSID comprising by obtaining anhydrous eodium-2Naphtholate in the smallest possible particle size of less than 0.002 microns, by adding caustic lye at a regulated, rate to 02-JJaphthgJ -dissolved in kero3ene/alkyl Benzene which is kept at a reflux temperature say at 100 C to 20Qn3 under vacuum or without vacuum and also * re mo vino, the water that is added and formed during the reaction from the top of the ^ '_ _^ fractionating column; wherein trace quantity of 2-Haphthol (nil moles to 0.1 mole per"mole"of 2-Naph.thol charge) is used during dehydration, also in the same trace quantify of 2-Naphthol (nil moles to 0.1 moles per mole of 2-Kaphthol) is used after completion of dehydration and before introducing C02 gas. Wherein furtiier about \% to 15* solvent like di-phenyl-ether/j aUgrl Naphthalenes/quinoline/picolines are used along with either kerosene/altyl benzenes. |
